LICENSURE STATUS AND SUPERVISION

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California, I practice under the supervision of a licensed therapist in accordance with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) regulations. My supervisor's information is Leah Smith, CA LMFT #123783, and they oversee my clinical work to ensure the highest standard of care.

NO CRISIS SERVICES

This website does not provide crisis counseling or emergency services. TELEHEALTH AND GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATIONS

Please be aware that therapy services are provided only to clients residing in California. If you reside outside of California, I am unable to provide therapy or counseling services to you due to state licensure laws. Additionally, telehealth services are subject to specific legal and ethical guidelines and may not be appropriate for all clients or situations.

SUPERVISION AND LIMITS OF PRACTICE

As an AMFT, my clinical practice is under supervision. Any references to “therapy” or “counseling” on this website pertain to services offered under the supervision of a licensed professional, and within the scope of my experience and training as an AMFT. I am unable to independently diagnose or treat mental health conditions without supervisory oversight.

CONSENT TO TREAT AND CLIENT RIGHTS

Before engaging in therapy services, all clients are required to sign a consent form that outlines the nature of the therapeutic relationship, the limits of confidentiality, and other important information about therapy. This consent must be in place before any therapy begins.

MANDATORY REPORTING

As a mandated reporter under California law, I am legally required to report certain types of conduct, including but not limited to suspected child abuse, elder abuse, or threats of harm to oneself or others.
